Made from Gaglioppo, which is a native Italian grape, this wine really has a salty, sappy quality that reminds you of summer days on the beach. The nose entices you with notes of rosehip and orange peel with a hint of blood orange. The palate has lovely crunchy tannins, a hint of wild cherry and tangy fruit. If you like Negronis, this is the wine version of that wonderful cocktail.
