A 2007 Caol Ila single malt from independent bottler The Whisky Exchange, matured in a single cask for 13 years, before being bottled in 2021. The palate offers notes of earthy peat smoke, salted caramel, candied lime peel, sherbet lemons and freshly picked mint leaves that linger in the finish.

Bought this at TWE when I was in London over the summer. How this hasn’t sold out yet is beyond me. Classic Caol Ila flavors amped up to 13 years and cask strength. TWE scored with this cask and is selling it at a very reasonable price.
