A sweet, spiced single malt from Glen Grant, the first edition of its 15 Year Old Batch Strength whisky offers floral aromas of orange, apple, honeydew melon, caramel, oak and heather that fill the nose. The palate holds notes of vanilla, honey, apricot marmalade, sweet malt and baking spices that linger in the finish alongside apple and cinnamon.

    Gerrymandering,

    Got this in a tasting pack. A big pear hit and hint of melon on the nose. Beautiful light colour. Delightfully oily in the glass. After the immediate hit of alcohol, vanilla explodes on the pallet, then spice on a long lingering finish. Added a drop of water to compare. Brings the melon through more, but on the palate, not as good for me. Dampens the alcohol but loses flavour. Definitely one for sipping straight up. Happy to purchase. It's a lovely Speyside dram.
