A pure belter of a whiskey and with a very reasonable price tag! It’s definitely my go to on a typically cold damp British day, the comfort of dunking a rich tea biscuit into a nice cuppa tea. You get the warmth of vanilla and biscuit with a smooth citrus twist

Bought a sample pack a few days ago.. it had a few of the Loch Lomond whiskey in and this was one. It smelled great so this was the first I got stuck into… to be honest I was a little disappointed. It might just be my pallet isn’t developed enough to appreciate what’s going on here but I found it a little too “complex” for my taste. The whiskey is a little bitter too.. some might like that but I was personally not a fan. However others that have reviewed it online loved it so might just be me.

LL 12 is delightful! Lovely nose. Lemon citrus, fruity, honey, toffee, vanilla, cinnamon & ginger, puff of smoke. Substantial mouthfeel. The finish is quite long and spicy with cinnamon. The finish goes and goes. 46% and unchillfiltered too. This whisky makes me happy :)

Fruity on the nose & palate, a little smoke on the back end with a bitterness that lets it down in my opinion. I would question the quality of casks used here?
