An 11-year-old Glenallachie single malt that has been matured initially in American oak barrels and finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry puncheons, adding layers of complexity and sweet fruit. Aromas of dark chocolate, plantains, sultanas, pineapple and nutmeg fill the nose, complemented by notes of heather honey, treacle, orange peel, cinnamon, dark chocolate and sultanas throughout the palate.

    Wow this is good whisky for the price. One of the best I have had this year. Full flavour and a fantastic Sherry hit.

    I was not impressed with this Whisky as it was not very complex and had a strong speyside taste. Having tried a Glen Allachie 2008 single malt 12 year old 56.8 % bottle no: 380/714, there was no comparison.
