Product Description
A sweet, spicy and versatile Highland whisky liqueur that is as delightful on its own as it is in a cocktail. Highland Nectar combines the distinctive character of Highland whisky with a characterful array of herbs, spices and fruit, including bitter orange, star anise, nutmeg, vanilla, ginger and cinnamon, to create a silky smooth liqueur with aromas of cinnamon-and-golden syrup biscuits, lemon, cloves, vanilla pods, honey, nutmeg and eucalyptus on the nose. The palate offers notes of boiled sweets, orange peel, garden herbs, ground allspice, crystallised ginger, star anise and maple syrup, leaving cinnamon, mulled chai cider and clove lingering in the finish.

Tasting Notes
Tasting Notes
Billy Abbott, The Whisky Exchange
Nose
Toffee leads, sequeing into citrus and spice. The toffee becomes cinder toffee as vanilla builds, backed up by green, leafy herbal notes of tarragon. The toffee notes morph into spiced spongecake batter, stirred through with sultanas and extra brown sugar. Soft heather honey notes hide underneath everything.
Palate
Rich and thick, with an initial burst of spicy anise balanced by creamy vanilla toffee. The spice sits in the middle, a slowly dissolving aniseed ball, with cinder toffee and charred hints joined by bitter lemon rind and sweet candied lemon.
Finish
Baking spice lingers along with soft toffee notes.
Ning Heywood, The Whisky Exchange
Nose
Clove and allspice break open on the nose, followed by caramel, vanilla and sweet honeysuckle.
Palate
Crème caramel and toffee burst through on the palate, with aromatic heather and oak spice following closely behind. Delicate orange appears, with cinnamon, clove and honey as well.
Finish
Soft and sweet with notes of honey and caramel, sophisticated Highland whisky and warm baking spices.

I tasted this at Edinburgh castle, Scotland. I am not a whiskey drinker. But this was the best alcohol I ever tasted. Saving up to buy 6 bottles and have it delivered to my house in NJ. USA
I bought a miniature whilst visiting Edinburgh castle. Love it over ice. Usually drink Dissarano but this is a lot smoother. Think it could be on my Christmas list.
Yes, I was in Scotland last Spring and purchased the 5cl at Edinburgh Castle. I’m not much of an imbiber but, this is truly delicious!
I brought a small bottle home to the states for my friend and we drank it right down. Now we want more. Love it.
I tried a sample of this on a visit to Edinburgh Castle. God it was absolutely delicious, very spicy and sweet and leaves a lovely warm glow in your mouth and stomach. It kept me going whilst toiling around the hills of the castle and the wonderful city. I like Drambuii on occasion but this was far better, in my humble opinion
