Released for Cocchi's 130th anniversary, Cocchi Vermouth di Torino Extra Dry Piemontese is a classic style from the birthplace of vermouth - Piemonte. Made with Cortese grapes and a secret blend of botanicals, including lemon peel, coriander seeds, peppermint, gentian and Artemisia, also known as absinthium. The palate offers elegant notes of fresh apple, melon and white flowers from the wine, with aromatic cardamom, wormwood, coriander, mint and lemon peel, with garden herbs lingering in the finish.
Fresh and fragrant, this extra dry vermouth has an almost savoury quality to it that I adore. It's my go-to for making Martinis at home, but more often than not I end up enjoying it on its own. Ning Heywood, The Whisky Exchange
