Product Description
The 2021-release of Bunnahabhain's Cask Strength 12 Year Old, inspired by the cask strength tastings given to visitors in the distillery's iconic Warehouse 9. Aromas of blackberries, orange, toasted oak, vanilla and cinnamon fill the nose, complemented by notes of creamy milk chocolate, sherry-soaked fruit, rich nuttiness, cloves, nutmeg and sea salt throughout the palate, with hints of cherries and oak spice lingering in the finish.

not tried yet but love Bunnahabhain purchased so I have the set of three 21 22 and 23 which I will keep and enjoy later on. Reading all reviews this one although very good is the weakest of the three
Not for the rookie whiskey drinker . Initial mellow taste which then comes back like a kick from a mule
I have always loved Bunnhabain - but I can’t believe what a difference cask strength makes to the experience. Wow - this is some whisky! I have been drinking whisky for 55 years and probably 50 years knowledgeably. Tonight, I had just finished a bottle of Ardbeg (I can’t live without it - I’m off to the whisky shop tomorrow to buy some). Had this 12-year-old Bunna cask strength for Christmas and had to give it a go. It is superb - massive depth and richness…and all of it enhanced by that 55% abv. Even on the nose the nuttiness is knock out. Who would have thought that increasing the strength would have increased the enjoyment so much? Anyway, it is terrific. By the way, I have a 25-year-old Glengarclas in for the 25th. Merry Christmas to fellow whisky aficionados everywhere ????.
Silky, yet thick and oily. This does not disappoint and takes an already incredible dram to another level. This surely must be a contender for whisky of the year. Very, very reasonably priced for the liquid inside. Perfectly executed!
