Tasting Notes

Tasting Notes

  • Billy Abbott, The Whisky Exchange

    • Nose

Cherry Bakewells – vanilla custard, hints of light fruit cake and a touch of orgeat almond. Fruity notes build: apple sauce with sultanas, spice and a touch of banana.

    • Palate

Creamy toffee and caramel leading to spiced apple and fruit cake. The cherry and almond notes from the nose reappear along with singed raisins and custard. Polished oak and lardy cake notes poke out the sides. Fresh apple and roasted pears with a touch of sharp white grape.

    • Finish

Creamy spiced apple and cream notes slowly.
