Batch B11-21 of Redbreast's cask strength 12 Year Old, made with a combination of malted and unmalted barley and triple distilled in copper pot stills, before being matured in both American oak ex-bourbon barrels and Spanish oak oloroso sherry butts. Aromas of exotic fruits, orange, dried apricot, sultana, toasted oak and baking spices fill the nose, complemented by notes of ripe fruit and spice, vanilla, oak and creamy barley throughout the palate.

    Daniel,

    This is the best Irish whiskey you’ll find, absolutely beautiful stuff. It’s the typical pot still flavours, but amped up to the max. As an experienced scotch drinker, I can say that this stands up to many single malts on the market, and is actually better than the majority. Irish whiskey will never match the likes of Springbank (the god of whisky), but this is pure class. Well worth the money, and I will be looking out for future batches.
