Kilikanoon father and son team have always been driven by expressing the terroir of their vines. The prodigal Grenache is classic old vine Clare Valley fruit. First made back in 1997 this has always been a favourite. On the nose dark fruit; baked blackberry pie, black cherry, soft sweet spices, leather and dusted cocoa powder. The palate is really deliciously round and velvety with layers of black fruits, perfumed florals, eucalyptus, nutmeg and cinnamon. A wine for kicking back and enjoying with a good steak.
