    I have been thinking about trying this rum since the price in the shop was almost the same as beautiful 7 yrs Flor de Cana which is my favourite rum around 20 euros. What a mistake I did! The taste is very rough and it has very harsh aftertaste. Don't expect here any vanilla or sugary mild taste. Every 5star review is a mistery for me because in this price level you get much better rums.

    This is my absolute favourite rum over any. I went on a holiday to the Dominican and tried this and since then I’ve been obsessed with it. It’s a smooth rum and just goes perfect with any mixer or by itself on ice.

    I've been drinking a lot of pricy rums of late so thought I would purchase a mid level priced bottle. Now I remember why I buy pricier rums. As I don't do mixers, I prefer rums I can drink straight. While this will do in a pinch, it is more likely that I will offer it up to my rum and coke pals because they won't be able to tell the difference. But I can. A little cardboardy and astringent with a dry finish. Not the first bottle I will be reaching for in the future.
