The 2021-release of Dalwhinnie Distillers Edition was distilled in 2006 and finished in oloroso sherry casks, creating aromas of heather, rich malt, oak spice, honey and orange that fill the nose. The palate offers notes of grapes, purple heather, honey, sherry, dark chocolate, oak spice and vanilla that linger in the finish.

    A Scotch Enthusiast,

    Really good, very complex, classically floral as you would expect from Dalwhinnie. I think it needed a bit more time in the sherry cask as its not as fruity as I would like.
