Frog's Leap Vineyard was named after a spot known as Frog Farm where in the turn of the century frogs were raised and sold. Working sustainably in the vineyards, the wines are always beautifully balanced and far too drinkable. This Zinfandel is no exception. It has the classic plummy, berry-forward fruit and spice of a classic Zin but the fruit is contained within silky tannins and a spice of oak. Try this with a hearty stew.
