This wine comes from very old vines (60-100 years old) farmed biodynamically and is a blend of Bical, Malvasia and Encrusado. This is a deliciously complex wine with many layers. Baked pear with liquorice, bay leaf and dried thyme. The palate is so round it is like being eveloped in a goose down comforter but with a great backbone and depth. Touches of grapefruit rind, green almond and a salty mineral finish. This is a wine to get into a decanter to breathe, try it with white meat or fish in a cream sauce.
