Tasting Notes by TF
Nose: Delicious initial waft of creamy sherry. Honey and blackberry notes, some citrussy aromas. Becomes more spicy and raisiny. An enticing nose.
Palate: A continuation of the nose with some punchy malt mingling with the fruit and honey. Medium-bodied, very elegant. Great sherry and spice combo in the mid-palate.
Finish: A warm, malty, oaky delight. Outstanding balance of flavours.
Comment: Another class act from DL. Forget the Singleton, this shows what this distillery is capable of.
