Product Description

A fruity and rich limited-edition single malt from Glenfiddich, Simultaneous Time was matured for 50 years in just three casks, under the careful watch of three generations of Malt Masters, before being bottled as part of its Re-Imagination of Time series. Aromas of rich orange peel, Madeira cake, clementine, muscovado and flowering geraniums fill the nose, complemented by notes of sun-dried vanilla, sultanas, orange peel, oak spice and dried fruit throughout the palate.

The decanter is made by acclaimed glassmakers Glasstorm, its three faces representing the three pillars of whisky – water, air and malted barley. The bottle comes presented in a striking aluminium box, created in collaboration with data artist Manuel Jiménez Garcia.

Tasting Notes

Billy Abbott, The Whisky Exchange
- Nose
  Stacks of fruit: apples pears, passion fruit, sharp mango, dried pineapple, gummi bears and boiled sweets. Resinous oak sticks everything together. Around the edges custardy hints peek in, with a touch of candy floss and orange cream.
- Palate
  Buttery and oaky leading to butterscotch and fruit-fondant-filled chocolates: strawberry, banana, lemon and lime. Apple notes develop – sweet and sour, but freshly cut, as well as stewed and doused in custard, with the peels on the side.
- Finish
  Resinous oak, chocolate and mint fondant. Orchard fruit builds; toffee and biscuits linger.
