Midleton Very Rare An Dair Ghaelach Kylebeg Wood Tree 3

The third of seven expressions in this limited series from the venerable Midleton distillery. Kylebeg Wood – or An Coill Beag, as it is in Irish – refers to ‘the little wood,’ a carefully managed forest that has stood on the Ballykilcavan Estate since the 17th century. The Irish oak hogsheads used to mature this pot still whiskey came from one tree in that forest, felled to make way for new growth.

Bottled at natural strength, without chill filtration this bottling carries flavours and aromas unique to that one oak that stood in Country Laois for hundreds of years. A real taste of history.
