The second batch of Filey Bay Peated Finish Yorkshire single malt was initially matured in first-fill bourbon casks and finished in ex-peated whisky casks. Aromas of caramel, driftwood, vanilla, apples and soft smoke fill the nose, complemented by notes of orange, lemon, damp peat, herbal smoke, toffee and sea salt throughout the palate.

    Smokey but not peatey.,

    If you enjoy a lot of smoke this is for you. Easily sipped but this isn’t an all night whiskey due to the smokiness. Rather 2-3 glasses at a time. I love smoke so I love this.
