    Joel,

    This whisky deserves more attention. It packs a huge punch and skilfully balances a number of heavyweight flavours, inviting you in with aromatic nutty gingeriness, before enveloping you in billowing wafts of smoke and the respite of spiced honeycomb. The mouthfeel is generous and lingering, and there's a certain confidence in the way the juice asserts itself. It's not for the faint-hearted; you're getting a lot of whisky for your money here and it punches well above its weight. I've already been back for a number of bottles and have turned a couple of friends onto it.

    Selwyn Doouss,

    Have had the usual Smokehead a few times which is good especially for the price. This is just as good if not a bit better with added depth and earthy smoke that lingers. I couldn't describe it like the experts but definitely one I would happily drink again!
