Tasting Notes

Nose
A field of young, freshly unfurled is covered with heavy wood smoke but a crashing-wave fuelled sea breeze blows it away to reveal singed lemons and limes. The smoke returns becoming both meaty and medicinal, all run through with the smell of the sea.
Palate
Sweet and chocolatey to start, with sticking plasters and tarry touches building slowly. Chocolate lime sweets and barbecue sauce are joined by smouldering green leaves, black pepper and touches of brine.
Finish
Chocolate limes and day-old bonfires linger.
