Chateau Montrose is one of the leading lights of St Estephe and can produce some wonderfully long lived wines. The vintage was one of contrasts – a cold, wet winter and a hot dry summer and was challenging for many. The resulting wine is dense and structured, with notes of raspberry, liquorice, Morello cherry and a long structured finish. Ensure this wine has time to breathe.
