This 1997 Bushmills single malt is part of the 2022 Causeway Collection, an annual series of whiskey releases which focuses on different cask influences and which is inspired by the Giant's Causeway.
Since its distillation the whiskey has spent all its life in first-fill rum casks made from American oak, into which it was filled on Valentine's Day 1997. The result is a richly fruity single malt with notes of summer fruits, apricot and pineapple, alongside honey, oak and spice.
