The 2017 Late Bottled Vintage port from Ramos Pinto was made after a hot, dry year in the Douro region that lead to an early harvest. Using a blend of 59% Touriga Nacional, 32% Touriga Franca, 7% Tinto Cão and 2% Tinta Barroca grapes, it offers aromas of raspberry, blueberry, bergamot and violet that fill the nose. The palate brings notes of cherries, blackberries, lavender, dark chocolate and raspberry that linger in the finish. This port will pair beautifully with game, cheese soufflé or chocolate desserts.
