The 11th batch of Cask Strength single malt from Glendronach is sure to thrill fans of the distillery's heavily-sherried style. Matured in a combination of Pedro Ximenez and oloroso sherry casks, it is packed full of rich, nutty and sweet flavours, perfect for cold winter evenings. Aromas of cranberries, orange, clove, dark honey and nutty oak fill the nose, complemented by notes of spiced bramble wine, treacle toffee, chocolate-covered raisins, cinnamon, maple syrup and sultana on the palate. The finish is long and lingering, with hints of Seville orange, maraschino cherries, caramel and nutmeg.
