Product Description

The second release in Piper Heidsieck's range of impressively aged Champagnes, Hors-Serie 1982 draws on the maison's oenological heritage to offer a more contemporary version of wines produced from the 1982 harvest. Aged on the lees for 39 years, this Champagne was disgorged in January 2022 and has a vibrant, fresh character with aromas of mirabelle plums, kumquats, dried pineapple, ginger and bergamot that fill the nose. The palate brings notes of honey, coffee beans, warm toast, fresh minerals and juicy plums that linger in the finish. This is a Champagne that will pair well with goat cheese with rosemary or sautéed sole with lemon.
