Mike and Claudia Elze Weersing spent 15 years searching the world to find the perfect spot to grow grapes and they landed near Waikari in New Zealand. They work the land using the principles of Biodynamics and work naturally in the winery with little intervention. This orange wine has spent time on the skins giving it that classic orange hue and that grip of tannin and full bodied texture. On the nose it is quite herbaceous with touches of orange rind and yellow flowers. This is a wine for food try it with Mediterranean style vegetarian dishes.
