Customer Rating

A luxurious golden rum from celebrated Nicaraguan distillers Flor de Cana, aged for 18 years in small white oak casks. Marvellously mellow stuff, with notes of nuts, caramel, vanilla and spice followed by a lingering finish.

Good, full-flavored rum. A bit too woody, which tends to cover the rum tones, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Discovered it whilst in Panama during a trip through Central and South America. Superb rum - quite easily the best I have ever tasted - and over the years, I have tasted a lot of rum.

Memories of San Juan del Sur for me too with this one, along with the morning trader van driving round the town with the meagaphone advertising the stuff. This is the best rum i have ever tasted hands down. I only wish it was the same price as there.

I wouldnt go as far to suggest that this is the greatest rum in the world, it does, however, have an outstanding mix of both subtle and deep flavours that lead to a slightly dry, long lasting finish.

the best rum in the world hand down the only one close to it would be flor de cana 21

This is one the most exquisite rum I had ever tried. Very smooth and very elegant. I will recommend to anyone.

Perhaps one of the greatest if not the greatest rum in the world. I first enjoyed this particular year in the south of Nicaragua at a discoteca in San Juan del Sur. It is a fabulous rum with earthy overtones and a smooth, elegant finish. Worth sipping for hours anyday.
