Product Description
Replacing the 10 year-old as the main expression of the Lowland style in the Classic Malts range, this Glenkinchie 12yo is a bit fuller and more complex.

Initial aroma when I first opened the bottle was a little off putting. Bland and bordering stale so didn't hold much hope. Took a sip and instantly felt guilty for making such a hasty judgement. Taste is very sweet, hints of caramel, chocolate and cream. Aftertaste of smooth coffee, Vanilla and final sharp fruity kick. I was very pleasantly surprised. Not to everyone's taste as it it very much on the sweet side but I have a sweet tooth and this hit just the right spot. Smooth, tasty but not overbearing

Subtle smooth sweeter-taste whiskey. Highly recommended for experienced whiskey drinkers & novices alike!
