    Better than what Levon thinks it is - for a blend it’s value for money and has a great cereal chocolate taste after a hint of salt. Worth a try

    I saw somewhere a feedback, that this whisky is the proof that the age statement doesn't mean anything. Can't agree more. It's like 90% vodka, where just a bit of scotch was dropped in. Not that it's alcoholic or harsh. If you're looking for smoothness, it is as smooth as you can get. But buying a 17 years old whisky, even a blend, you expect a bit of complexity, which you cannot find here. It is flat, lacks personality, doesn't smell like anything, tastes diluted. Overall, extremely disappointing. Can't imagine how this won a best whisky of the year in some competitions.
