A vintage Armagnac from Chateau de Laballe in Landais, at the heart of Bas Armagnac, owned by the Laudet family. The unique sandy terroir of Les Sables Fauves, wood-fired distillation, and ageing in Landes oak barrels bring finesse and roundness to the final product that is undoubtedly Laballe. The 1998 vintage uses only Ugni Blanc grapes, creating an inviting nose with aromas of candied orange, citrus, praline, menthol, and the Chateau's signature coconut milk. The palate also has a mineral core that is surrounded by a fresh and structured mouthfeel. Best enjoyed after dinner in good company.
