A vintage Armagnac from Chateau de Laballe in Landais, at the heart of Bas Armagnac, owned by the Laudet family. The unique sandy terroir of Les Sables Fauves, wood-fired distillation, and ageing in Landes oak barrels bring finesse and roundness to the final product that is undoubtedly Laballe. The 1979 vintage is made with Baco grapes and has a sweet, inviting nose with aromas of prunes, chocolate, and spices. This gentle Armagnac is filled with notes of ripe fruits, cocoa, and tobacco that linger with notes of toast and rancio.
