An 11-year-old Islay single malt from the Whisky of Voodoo range, dubbed The Rusty Cauldron, this whisky was made at Caol Ila distillery and initially matured in refill sherry butts, before being finished in first-fill Lafite wine barriques. Aromas of salty coastal air, dried fruit, smouldering embers, olive oil, brown bread and a touch of linoleum fill the nose, complemented by notes of barbecued meats, peppery spice, creamy chocolate, strawberries and soft smoke throughout the palate.
