This Glenlossie, distilled in 1997, was released by Gordon & MacPhail as part of their Connoisseurs Choice range — first introduced in 1968 and dedicated to showcasing limited-release whiskies from distilleries around Scotland. This particular whisky from Glenlossie was aged in a first-fill sherry butt for 24 years and bottled at cask strength, offering aromas of sweet fruitcake and sultanas, coupled with warm autumn spices. The palate is greeted with Morello cherries and blackcurrants that meet citrus zest and toasted oak before fading into a light and delicate finish.
