Tasting Notes from Wine Enthusiast Magazine
Medium Gold in color, this shows a complex, well-balanced nose that shows both dry, peppery notes and a rich honey-vanilla sweetness. The body is medium, leaning toward full, and the palate follows the nose being at once dry and sophisticated with some tingly spicy notes, and also showing a sweet side full of toffee, vanilla and a rich oakiness. The finish is very long and very satisfying.
This is a well-crafted Bourbon with a balance that's hard to beat. Sip it neat, on the rocks, or in a Manhattan cocktail. 89/100

Found a bottle I can only assume was from the 80s last weekend in the garage. Yes i cracked it open and yes its still amazing!
I've been drinking this 8 year old bourbon since 1976 and have not found anything else comparable in either taste or price. Now I assume that it is gone. Can't find it anywhere.
