Dalmore 12 Year Old
Product Description

Dalmore 12 is aged for the first nine years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, before half is transferred to ex-oloroso sherry casks for the final three years. The result is a whisky with a combination of sweetness and rich, sherried flavours.

    Very pleased indeed.,

Fantastic whisky! I fail to see why anyone would give this Scotch a negative review. Smells great, tastes great .. doesn't melt your pallete or blow the back of your skull off from some horrible stingy sensation. This Whisky is smooth, colourful and very agreeable. But I suppose the snobs have to have a reason to spend $1,000+ on a bottle of plonk .. frankly .. you're welcome to it. I'm very happy to have discovered Dalmore, and you can be sure I will be buying more. I found this Scotch to be the best I've tasted.

    Anonymous,

Still the whisky by which I judge all others. Highgate cemetery in a misty fog, autumn in a glass...concord grape, nutmeg, a winter wind laden with Christmas spices, plum, black cherry cigar, damp wood, fresh rain. An unbelievable experience of a whisky - romantic, lush, piercing to the core.

    Anonymous,

The chill filtering and artificial colour makes this Whiskey bland and unexciting, I read all the reviews raving how good it used to be. I poured my first glass and tasted absolutely nothing, no warmth or bite at all, it reminded me of a really cheep blended whiskey you can get from Tesco for £15 I was so annoyed I had spent my money on this over hyped colored water I nearly tipped the whole bottle down the sink. It got slightly better after a few weeks of being opened but not much. Will never buy again.
