I am from Grenada and apart from Rivers (which you can''t get over here) this is my favourite rum. You can smell bananas and the West Indies its delicious.

If you've only ever experienced Captain Morgan's or Bacardi this would serve as an excellent 'gateway' to the world of vintage rums. The nose is a wonderment of toffee, caramelised bananas and molasses, and what follows is a joyfully spicy punch. Not as refined as more upmarket rums, but still a damn fine bottle of "pirate juice" for the money!
