Product Description

The Mermaid is the inaugural entry into Glen Scotia’s Icons of Campbeltown range and sees its unpeated whisky finished in ex-Palo Cortado sherry cask. This whisky is one of the best I’ve tried for 2023 Lovely nose &the ex-Palo Cortado sherry casks, making for a whisky full of salted caramel, walnut and oak.

This is a masterpiece. Springbank should be trembling in their boots, they’re about to be dethroned if this is an inkling of what’s coming. The best expression of GS I’ve tasted so far. Is it pricey yes, Is it worth it yes. It’s exceptional. The nutty popcorn aroma taste is so interesting. I know enough about whisky to know that this is an award winner
