My family always had two bottles in the house. Green in the cabinet and Gold in the freezer. Green for illness, teething and uninvited guest. Gold for special events. I love the green the best since teething.

Must be beyond freezing and served in frozen glasses. Delightful with pickled herring. So smooth with a slightly oily feel. It is strong so don't get carried away!

Having lived in Sweden, I normally prefer Swedish to Danish, but this is my favourite Akvavit by a long way.
