    • Nose

      Vanilla sponge cake and butterscotch with soft spices notes and a lingering agave character. Full but not too intense, overall a very good balance of the wood influence and the Tequila character.

    • Palate

      Soft with some vanilla sweetness, quite buttery and mouth-filling. Definitely a palate that pairs with lighter style cigars well.

    • Finish

      The sweetness is overcome by a distinct mineral spiciness. Grassy and raw vegetal notes develop as well, giving this softer, sweeter style of Tequila a well-balanced finish.

    I'm a big fan of Cazadores Anejo, and this Reposado is different. It's really more complex, with a lot of different aromas. It's not a smooth simple tequila with agave taste, you have to really work on yourself to detect all the subtle flavors. For that reason, it should only be drunk neat.
