Tasting Notes
Tasting Notes
Producer's Tasting Notes
The 18 year old is zesty and refreshing with deep golden summer barley appearance.
The nose is fresh tobacco leaf then sweet with a hint of caramelised sugars, green tea and toasted almonds.
At first the palate has a floral freshness with sweet barley sugar which gently ebbs to reveal a tangerine zestiness that leaves the palate alive and refreshed. It leaves a long, lingering and well balanced dram that invigorates the mouth.

Quite underwhelming for an 18yo. Not a lot going on in terms of depth which is disappointing. Struggling to identify any nasal notes. Very briney instantly on the palate, followed by a dry after taste that continues to linger, and not much else sadly. Visited the distillery and tasted the 21yo. It's £20 more but absolutely worth it. Can't recommend and can think of many 18yo's I'd rather purchase. This distillery offers better expressions either side of this price point. Avoid disappointment.
Quite smooth and soft, but not a lot of depth in the flavour and finish. Its rather nice and gentle, not too complex so great at the end of a log day.
there is not a lot going on here . this is a poor 18 year old lacks flavour / there are much better 18 year olds out there ] dont waste your money
Sometimes maligned unfairly! Unique and different to your Speyside or Highland, when you want something to relax to during warm evenings, distinctive, no water required, neat is lovely on the palate, citrus dominates. (PS I've been tasting for a while now so not a noob, but I think noobs malign this because it has a light body). I will be buying more :-)
Bought 2 bottles of this beaty while visiting scottland, barely touched the first bottle and i personally love this whisky. Fruity, fresh, develops nicely along with a nice finish
