Product Description

This exceptional Glen Keith was aged in a first-fill American oak barrel and bottled for the Lost In Time series. The deliciously bright and fruity character of this single malt is a testament to the distillery's many years of experimentation and commitment to quality. This nose displays a sweet bouquet with pear drops and candied citrus, rounded by toffee and wet clay. On the palate you will find notes of puffed rice, grape skins and candy apples, with hints of roasted cereals on the finish.

Glen Keith

Glen Keith was built by Chivas Brothers, in the Speyside town of Keith, in response to the increasing global demand for Scotch whisky during the 1950s. This is a distillery synonymous with experimentation and prior to the 1980s it produced both double and triple distilled whiskies. There have been numerous peated variations of its spirit over the years and research into a multitude of proprietary yeast strains. Today, the archetypal Glen Keith style is a largely gentle and fruity malt, but its capacity to experiment continues thanks to it being the home of the Chivas Brother laboratory.

Lost In Time

The Lost in Time series is a collection of eight single cask whiskies assembled by Chivas Brothers and The Whisky Exchange. These remarkable single malts were taken from the warehouses of some of the greatest names in Speyside – including Longmorn and Glenlivet – along with some of the region’s hidden gems. Together, they form an image of whisky making at the turn of the 21st century, just before the industry boom of the mid-2000s. Each one is bottled without chill filtration and at natural strength, so as to best display each respective distillery character at a carefully chosen point in its maturation.
