Product Description
This striking Glenlivet is the jewel in the crown of the Lost in Times series. Bottled after 32 years of patient maturation in a refill hogshead, this single cask was chosen to reveal abundant fruity aromas of tropical fruit and lemon tarts, with shortbread and hints of clay on the nose. The palate offers honeysuckle and mango with notes of upside down cake and a creamy, almost savoury edge.

Tasting Notes
Tasting Notes
Billy Abbott, The Whisky Exchange
Nose
Stewed orchard fruit with a touch of berry fruit. Chamois leather and old books follow, alongside well-worn oak and earthiness, balanced by brown sugar, baking spice and aromatic grapes.
Finish
Linger apple and pear with flapjack notes.
Palate
Rich red and green apples with sponge cake, sultanas and warming spice: cinnamon and clove. The fruitiness builds alongside polished oak and freshly crushed barley.
Glenlivet
Founded by the pioneering George Smith, Glenlivet has left an indelible mark on the whisky industry. Smith began his career as an illicit distiller and later secured a license in 1824, which propelled the business forward and turned Glenlivet into a name synonymous with quality. By the 1860s, tastes were changing, so Glenlivet embraced a lighter, ester-forward style, celebrated for its distinctive pineapple note. This deviation from the heavier styles of the time is a hallmark trait that is well-loved to this day.
This series embodies Speyside single malt in eight casks hand-picked by Chivas Brothers and The Whisky Exchange. These casks come predominantly from the late 20th century and were produced by the very hands which have shaped the whisky world as we now know it. The Lost in Time series is a testament to their craftsmanship and to the beautiful Speyside region.
