Festival of Lights
Diwali is India’s biggest and most important holiday of the year, a celebration of new beginnings and the triumph of light over darkness. The festival is known for the brightly burning clay lamps that people place outside their homes, as well as the fireworks that many enjoy throughout the five day celebration. This limited-edition release of Johnnie Walker Blue Label is a vibrant celebration of Diwali, featuring an eye-catching design on the bottle inspired by the decorations that adorn clay pots laid out during the festival.
About Johnnie Walker
John Walker sold his first Old Highland Whisky in a Kilmarnock grocery in the 1820s. A skilled blender with a keen entrepreneurial spirit, Mr Walker’s name would soon become known in every corner of the earth. As the reputation of the whisky – signified by its emblem of a striding man – grew through the decades, its famous square bottle became synonymous with quality. Today, it is bought to sip, mix and mark celebrations more than any other whisky in the world.
