A lovely dram for a very reasonable price point. As a few others have mentioned it needs a bit of time to open up in the glass (especially the neck poor) this allows the overpowering sweetness to go. Tropical fruits for me, its generally mellow but thats not to say it lacks complexity for a young whisky. Would by again
First glass I found this Scapa 10 a little to sweet but nice and fruity. Second glass the sweetness not has dominant altogether a better drink experience. Not a bad example of a Scapa whisky but not a patch on the 14 year old from years a go which was replaced by the 16 year old sold at a premium price
Fantastic fruity whisky well worth picking up, great job scapa.
