Italy produces a few other brandies but Vecchia R is easily the biggest brand and the best. I actually prefer it to a lot of reasonably priced French and Spanish brandies I tried over the years.

I took this for my father just because the bootle looks royal and decent. But he liked it so much and now he wants more of it.
A happy reunion ~ I always like to have a bottle of brandy on hand for our cold winters in Canada. This one was on special, I scooped it up at Christmas time and what a beautiful surprise! Warm, gentle spices and chocolatey, with no harsh finish. I have finally found the perfect Brandy that my imagination has been day dreaming of!
A Brilliant brandy. It had a touch of sweetness and plenty of depth that you would expect in a brandy. On my second bottle now and it will have a permanent place in the drinks cabinet!
