Product Description

This Venezuelan white rum is a blend of molasses spirits aged between two and six years in small oak casks. A mature rum that has been stripped from its colour to create a clear spirit suitable for cocktails without sacrificing flavour. The nose offers inviting aromas of freshly buttered toast, vanilla, dried coconuts and freshly ground coffee that linger on the palate with the addition of milk chocolate.

    • Transparent and clear. Others have described the nose of this rum as being reminiscent of freshly buttered toast – they’re right. Add aromas of vanilla, freshly ground coffee and dried coconut flesh. The ever so slightly sweet palate has an almost creamy mouth feel with pronounced coconut and mocha coffee flavours. Milky chocolate notes continue throughout the long finish. I feel a Mulata Daiquiri coming on. Score: 5/5 (Outstanding / Exceptional).

      Rich and unexpectedly intense for a white rum. Immediate notes of brown sugar and hot-buttered toast. Creamy. A strong whiff of fresh-ground coffee. Cocoa powder and cappuccino. Golden syrup and raisin cake.

      Medium-full - again, much bigger and more expressive than one expects from a white rum. Amazing soft, creamy texture. Deliciously chocolatey, with the mocha notes from the nose weaving through a luscious, highly sophisticated palate. Perfectly rounded and balanced.

      Long and sweet, but retains enough zip and complexity to easily avoid becoming sickly. A trace of pepper towards the end. Marvellous.

      The ageing and charcoal filtration has created what must be the smoothest, silkiest white rum ever. A totally unexpected depth of flavour.
