Product Description
Winner of the Silver Medal at the Concours Général de Paris in 2007, plus Gold in 2003, as well as another Silver Medal at Concours Cognac in 2006 it proves that the average aging of 10 years for the Eaux-de-Vie that go into this cognac is worthwhile. The grower, Patrick Drouet, describes this Cognac as “in full bloom, with its vanilla aromas”.

Tasting Notes

Tasting Notes by Tim F
N
Very clean, with plenty of fresh fruit: green apples, plenty of citrus (lemon, grapefruit) and very mild peach aromas. There's faint hints of older notes later eg toast, resin, spice, church pew - but really it's all about the fruit here.
P
Medium-weight. Dominated by delicious sliced green apple flavours, with delicate honeysuckle providing a balancing sweetness. Citrus tingles in the background, darting forward from time to time to liven things up. Clearly very well-made spirit, with a precisely defined structure allowing all aspects of the palate to shine.
F
Longer and livelier than expected. Tingling fresh acidity keeps it going, with the fruit and sweetness in very good balance.
C
Officially, there's no such thing as a 'session' cognac - but if there were, this would be it. Only good manners prevent me from quaffing it.
