Product Description
The initially controversial 16yo official expression of Scapa is now winning people round with a jump in quality after a few wobbly years following the rapid transition from the much-loved 12yo via the short-lived 14yo. Orkney's less shouted about (but still lovely in its own way) malt whisky has found its feet.

Tasting Notes by Stuart P
Nose
Like stepping out on deck during a sea crossing – maritime, sea spray, ozone! Very clean and fresh.
Palate
Fresh and fruity, with good weight, that sea spray lurking around, and a touch of smoke, too.
Finish
Fresh and zingy. Refreshing.

Yes, 5 years ago when in Wales I went to a big scotch-house & bar. Did a blind taste test of the top five selling bartender picks. No question what the best one was, Scapa Skiren! Bought me a bottle in a box just in time before I missed my ride on the tour bus. Worth it
Delicious and smooth. The best scotch whisky I have had the pleasure to drink. 10/10.
Very good scotch. I usually drink macallan 12 yr. Scapa is much smoother.
Probably the smoothest whisky I’ve tried – it’s one of these bottles where you go through for another dram and there’s none left
This will always be one of my favorites. In my opinion nothing is more pleasurable to drink
