This unique Spanish brandy is aged, like a sherry, in a solera made from casks that previously held fine Pedro Ximénez and oloroso sherries, imparting an incredible richness and complexity to the spirit.

Very smooth. Great even with chocolate. I am not a great fan of most cognacs as too harsh, and appreciate this sherry cask aged brandy from Spain.

I tasted this brandy after great meal at Cran Canaria. Had to ask the waitress what I just drank and she showed me the bottle. I bought it then after great hunt from the local supermarket. I've tasted several and more brandies during restaurant school and after that working as a bartender for many years. This is one of the best I've ever tasted. It is quite sweet, so if you don' t like sweetness in brandy, you don' t probably like it. For me it works. Great stuff for reasonable price. Shake, Gognac, the Spains does it better!

Love this stuff, I buy a bottle every time I visit Spain. Nice and sweet yet delicately flavoured. It's only 21€ in Spain so grab a bottle whole you're there!

I tried this last September while I was in Berlin with my wife. I thought it was a cognac when I first tried it. It is the best brandy for me so far.

I first started drinking Cardinal Mendoza on my first visit to Dominican Republic and have enjoyed drinking it ever since. It is a very smooth, easy drinking brandy

Bought in Gibraltar at a very reasonable price but was not impressed to begin with. Needs a little water to take the edge off like some whiskeys but then one of the most flavoursome drinks I have had, very different to cognac.

I can honestly say I adore the back notes from the sweetness of sherry caskets used in its maturity. It lingers nicely on the palette. It's smooth with a good warm finish. I love it and as hard as I look around, there's never any that really take my fancy for this price. Excellent value

Had it at Iberica in Canary Wharf - fantastic - absolutely fantastic, warming, smooth, and deep.

Can't believe all these glowing 'reviews'. Taste before you spend this much money on a brandy that is over the top, loaded with too much caramel and surely not everybody's taste.

Heaven in a bottle. I'm not a brandy fan, even, but this sets the bar so high that it floats.

I have tried it at my uncle''s house for years and its fantastic. SUPERB!! Don Q Gran A?ejo Rum is not a brandy or cognac but it is up there in my rankings as well.
